Want to have the inflatables at your event?
Please go through this checklist first to make sure that you've considered all the important details before you contact us.
- What's the objective of your event?
Because our heart is to help churches reach their communities, the Youth Workers Closet makes the inflatables available almost exclusively for outreach events. If your aim is to have a fun event to which your church or youth group members can invite friends or to have a community event that will reach the lost in your area, you're exactly the kind of event we love to help out with! If you're looking to host the inflatables for a fundraiser, church-only "fun" night, or corporate party, you may feel free to contact us, but please know that our first priority and availability is for outreach.
- When do you want to have the inflatables come?
Because we have only 3 inflatable games, and most events use all of them, it's important that you find a date that is not already booked for us. You can check the "Schedule" page on this website to see the current inflatables schedule. If the date you were hoping to book is already scheduled, review your calendar to see if there's another date that will work. We're sorry, but we can't be two places at once!
- What is your budget?
The Youth Workers Closet is committed to working with any budget, so please do not let the suggested rental prices of the inflatable games discourage you. In general, we have found that $1000 per day plus mileage for the three inflatable games covers all of our necessary costs. If some larger churches with bigger budgets are able to pay more, that enables us to help out more churches with little to no budget for inflatables. Never hesitate to contact us, regardless of your budget. However, please note that if your event is not an outreach event (i.e. corporate event) we do ask full price for the use of the inflatables. - How much space do you have?
The inflatables are big! Before you contact us, please make sure that you have adequate space to set them up and run them safely.
Titanic Slide: 50' long, 25' high
Adrenaline Rush: 35' long, 25' wide, 15' high
Volleyball Court: 50' long, 30' wide, 25' high
Showmobile Stage: 24' x 36'>
Please note that all of the inflatable games must be set up on fairly level ground (grass, dirt, or gravel OK). The Showmobile stage must be set up on level pavement or gravel (parking lot, driveway, road) and must stay within an hour's drive of St. Paul, MN.
- How much power is available?
Yes, we have blown power circuits! It's important that we have enough electricity to run the inflatable games. You will need six 110 outlet at at least 15 amps power (20 is recommended) on six different circuits. (Please know where your breaker panel is located as well, just in case). A 4000-5000 watt generator can run one inflatable game. Also, please call the power company to have them mark power lines and gas lines.
- How many helpers do you have?
The inflatables are heavy and require help to set up and take down. Please have 6 hard workers available to both set up and take down the inflatables, and at least one person available to run each game during the duration of the event.
- Do you have all the paperwork you need?
We will need a copy of the event's insurance. Please read our liability waiver so that you know what your legal responsibilities entail. In addition, if you will be using any of the food items (Cotton Candy, SnoCones, Popcorn), please make sure that your church or organization has a permit from your city to use them.
- Do you have an indoor "Plan B"?
The inflatables cannot be set up if there are wind gusts up to 25mph or in the case of rain. We will take them down in such instances. Because of this, we ask that, if at all possible, you have a back-up plan that is indoors. In general, gymnasiums work well, but any space can work as long as it is big enough. See the dimensions of the inflatables above, and don't forget to include light fixtures when checking the height of your indoor space. If you do not have a back-up indoor plan, please just keep in mind that we will not leave the inflatables set up in the case of rain or strong winds.
